James McKinnon and Emily Lecompte are PhD candidates at the University of Ottawa who are supervised by Elizabeth Kristjansson. Both are developing observational tools and evaluation templates to support the implementation of the My Neighbourhood, My Voice: Photovoice Project. They are also carrying out a comparative analysis of how photovoice projects engage different demographic groups in different ways.

Success By 6 is a community partnership dedicated to increasing awareness of and investment in early child development. The goal of Success By 6 is to offer all children a good start in life so that by the time they begin Grade One (age 6), they are physically, socially and emotionally healthy and ready to learn.

The coalition is a network of community-based health and resource centres within Ottawa which recognizes the importance of responding to the diversity of needs within local communities and pays particular attention to those members of the community who are most vulnerable and at risk. The coalition works with the citizens it serves to develop strong and healthy communities across Ottawa. It acts as a catalyst to develop the capacity of communities to address local issues by advocating for and facilitating social action, and planning, coordinating and providing health and social services that contribute to healthy communities within Ottawa.
